The Bestowed Ohuna Spotter mount is obtained by completing the Waking Shores themed meta achievement, Wake Me Up. This achievement is comprised of 8 smaller achievements related to the Waking Shores or the main faction of the zone, the Dragonscale Expedition.
This achievement has a bit of randomness involved due to requiring specific world quests to be available. World quests in Dragonflight only reset twice a week so there is limited opportunity to get them done. The minimum time it would take, assuming you got every world quest you needed in a row, would be 2 weeks but it’ll probably take more than that. Besides that one achievement, the others are not too bad!
Well Supplied
This achievement requires you to unlock every talent on the Expedition Supplies tree. It’s listed first as several of the talents on the tree are related to the other achievements for this meta. Essentially, it is a talent tree that unlocks new world quests and things that make those world quests easier. Besides that, it can give you two abilities that let you bypass mechanisms on treasure and one that lets you see treasure through the wall.
To start putting points into the Expedition Supplies tree, you need to be renown level 6 with the Dragonscale Expedition. Next, head to Pathfinder Jeb in the Dragonscale Basecamp. I think you have to talk to him to begin but then later just have to click on the Expedition Supply Kit to put points in. Learning ‘talents’ costs Dragon Isles Supplies. You will need about 9,500 Dragon Isles Supplies in total to fully complete the tree. If you’re wondering how to grind these out, I’ve included some info in the dropdown before.
How to obtain Dragon Isles Supplies
Dragon Isles Supplies are a currency that are given by doing most things in the Dragon Isles. The best way to farm these on a new character is by unlocking Dragonriding races and then completing all of them. The first completion of every normal race gives 50 supplies if you get Gold or 30 supplies if you get Silver. Advanced races give even more each!
Treasures and rares in most zones drop Supplies so do them when you can. There are often world quests that give supplies specifically that I would recommend doing. Dragonriding racing world quests give Supplies from the purse you get at the end.
Digging patches of Disturbed Dirt with a Small Expedition Shovel is another way to get reliable Supplies, though this method is only available after renown 5 with the Dragonscale Expedition. Lastly, a lot of weekly activities can net you a good amount of Supplies like Researchers Under Fire, Superbloom and more!

I am unsure what order you can unlock these in as it’s been awhile since I’ve done it. If you can pick the order, I’d say start with Cartographer’s Flag in the first row so you can start doing the high peaks achievement you need. Then do the fourth row as they are important for other achievements in this guide.

A Legendary Album
This achievement is the one that has a bit of randomness involved. You need to take a photograph of 7 legendary characters while you’re cataloging wildlife. Each legendary character has one world quest that they’re tied to so you will need to wait for that specific one to be up. As I mentioned before, Dragonflight world quests rotate twice a week. For US servers, world quests will rotate on Tuesdays at 8am PDT and on Fridays at 8pm PDT. For EU servers, they’ll change on Wednesdays at 8am CET and on Saturdays at 8pm CET.
To unlock the ability to see the cataloging world quests, you will need to reach renown 8 with the Dragonscale Expedition. You’ll then need to do a small questline starting with A Cataloger’s Paradise. This quest is given by a companion who should show up next to you in Valdrakken named Doc Nanners. If you can’t get him to show up, you’ll first need to complete the Thalrdraszus campaign questline. You will then need to learn the Lucky Rock talent on the Expedition Supply Kit tree before you can see legendary wildlife.
The legendary character will always be in the exact same spot. Do not complete the quest until you have taken the legendary shot you are after. If the legendary character is not in their spot on the first run, just keep trying until they appear.
The legendary NPCs are:
- Chen Stormstout – Waking Shores (east of Obsidian Bulwark) // Video showing location here
- Abu’Gar – Waking Shores (Life Vault Ruins) // Video here
- Wrathion – Thaldrazsus (balloon ride, Algeth’era Court) // Video here
- Time-Warped Mysterious Fisher – Thaldrazsus (south of Valdrakken) // Video here
- Nat Pagle – Ohn’ahran Plains (Thunderspine Thicket) // Video here
- Elder Clearwater – Ohn’ahran Plains (Forkriver Crossing) // Video here
- Chief Telemancer Oculeth – The Azure Span // Video here
Here is a targeting macro you can spam during the ride that will do a raid warning and make a sound if you’re near your target. Replace Wrathion’s name with whichever NPC you’re trying for.
/cleartarget
/tar Wrathion
/stopmacro [noexists]
/run PlaySound(8959)RaidNotice_AddMessage(RaidBossEmoteFrame,UnitName("target").." nearby, get your camera ready!",ChatTypeInfo["RAID_WARNING"])
Great Shots Galore!
For this achievement, you’ll also be cataloguing wildlife like the last one but you will need to take 100 “great shots”. The wildlife that will give you credit for a “great shot” have a hue when you point the camera in their direction. For some people, this is apparently blue but for me, it’s more of a shiny gold glow. Great shots are generally an action shots such as a bird carrying a log, a water elemental spraying water or a goat jumping. The balloon ride in Thaldraszus quest seems particularly good for this as the Marmoni move a lot.

![](https://trueendgame.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/image-37.png)
I would suggest converting to a raid for this as world quests do not complete while you’re in a raid. This means you can take as many photos as you’d like without the quest ending.
Lead Climber
To complete this achievement, you will need to complete 10 rock climbing world quests.
To unlock the ability to see these world quests, you will need to reach renown 6 with the Dragonscale Expedition. You’ll then need to do a small questline starting with A Climber’s Calling. This quest is given by Doc Nanners who should show up next to you in Valdrakken.
After completing the small climbing tutorial questline, you should be able to see rock climbing world quests when they appear on your map. There are 11 in total, so there theoretically should be at least one up every world quest rotation. To start a climbing quest, you usually have to find and click on a small backpack called Climbing Gear.
![](https://trueendgame.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Screenshot_109.png)
Lastly, the Zaralek Cavern and Emerald Dream climbing world quests ones do not count toward this achievement or the one below.
How Did These Get Here?
This achievement requires you to find 10 Lost Supplies while you’re on climbing world quests. You will not be able to see them until you learn Jeb’s Monocle, which is a talent on the Expedition Supply Kit tree. The place you can put points into the tree is found in the Dragonscale Basecamp in the Waking Shores. More information about this is given in the “Well Supplied” section of this guide.
I would suggest turning on outline mode so you can see the Lost Supplies easier, as shown in my screenshot. Multiple can spawn during one world quest. Additionally, they are known to bug out and not count for the achievement on occasion.

Dragonscale Expedition: The Highest Peaks
For this achievement, you’ll need to place flags on top of some of the highest peaks in the Dragon Isles. There are 22 in total but you only need to place flags on 10 of them. You might want to do the rest though if you’re looking to gain renown! The first 20 are in the main Dragon Isles zones and then there are two in the Forbidden Reach.
To unlock the ability to place flags, you’ll need to reach renown 6 with the Dragonscale Expedition. You’ll then need to unlock the Cartographer’s Flag talent in Expedition Supply Kit tree. Information about the talent tree is under the first section of this guide!

Adventurer of the Waking Shores
This achievement requires you to kill 10 out of 32 possible special encounter/rare mobs in the Waking Shores. I will go over each and every rare as I can’t predict which will be available to you when you’re trying to get this achievement!
Most of these rares are straightforward but there are some that have quirks, such as ones that are only available during certain times or events. Below is a map and coordinates for all rares except those that have multiple spawn locations as they would add a lot of clutter. If a rare has a red star next to it, it has a quirk that I’ve touched on below. I’ve also gone over multiple spawn point rares. If you do not see a rare mentioned, assume it functions as normal rare does. Some of the rares listed simply do not show up on the main map or minimap but rest assured– they still count for the achievement!
It may be worth it to download an addon such as RareScanner or SilverDragon as they will give you a popup and audio notification whenever you’re close to a rare. You can also customize them if neither of those options sound particularly good to you. These addons can be especially helpful for rares with multiple spawn points!

Multiple spawn points
Brundin Dragonbane spawns as part of the Qalashi War Party. They are usually on top of the Qalashi War Mammoth. When the mammoth dies, you will fight him and the other war party members Depending on the spawn, they will already be off the mammoth and fighting. They can be found in the following areas below.
![](https://trueendgame.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/image-41.png)
Char can spawn either above ground in the slagmire area of Obsidian Citadel or down inside the cave. Cave entrance is located at /way #2022 29.4, 52.6

Spawn quirks
Death’s Shadow is spawned by turning in 20 Restored Obsidian Keys to Sabellian. This is a shard progress goal so you don’t have to do it all by yourself. Restored Obsidian Keys are obtained by combining 30 Key Fragments and 3 Key Framing. These items have a chance to drop from mobs in the Obsidian Citadel area. Death’s Shadow flies around the lava lakes and will need to be brought to the ground.
Enkine the Voracious can be spawned by using Lava Spices while fishing at the location /way #2022 21.6 64.78. Lava Spices has a low chance to drop from Restless Lava, Basalt Shell and Lavaslurper mobs. You must loot after you fish as having Sharp Tooth in your inventory will cause the rare to spawn. It may take awhile to fish up as well.
Lepidoralia the Resplendent is a bit complicated. To start, find Collector Zik in the Fluttering Cavern at the coordinates 34.61, 82.75. Talk to him and select the “I can help” dialogue option.
![](https://trueendgame.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Screenshot_124.png)
You’ll get an extra action button to catch Reveling Shimmerwings. Collecting butterflies does not give a buff or items. The only feedback is that they will disappear and the net cast will make a different sound when you catch them as opposed to when you don’t. You can speak to Zik to check your progress which has about four stages. The one indicating you’re closest to spawning Lepidoralia is when he says he’s close to a breakthrough.
You’ll know Lepidoralia has spawned when you see “With the rustling of great wing, Lepidoralia the Resplendent emerges from deep within the Fluttering Cavern!” in your chat. She spawns in the center of the upper area of the cavern that you’ll need to walk up a ramp to get to. It takes awhile to get her to spawn. One Wowhead user said it took them 20 minutes of catching butterflies.
Morchok is summoned by giving 10 Restored Obsidian Keys to Igys the Believer. This is a shared progress goal as well.
Possessive Hornswog is part of a riddle and you don’t actually fight it. You need to collect three items. The first is Well-Preserved Bone which is found on the top of the tower under a broken roof at the coordinates 66.18 55.29
![](https://trueendgame.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Screenshot_121.png)
The second is Marmoni’s Prize, which is a banana found inside a small crate behind a tent at the coords 47.71 83.59
![](https://trueendgame.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Screenshot_122.png)
Lastly, you’ll need Adventurer’s Lost Soap Bar which looks like a seashell found inside a barrel filled with water.
![](https://trueendgame.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Screenshot_123.png)
You need to then combine the items near the book Observant Riddles: A Field Guide at the coords 64.4 69.1. You MUST combine them by the book or it will not work. They despawn from your inventory once combined and you will have to get them again if you mess up. You will then get Observant Riddle “Treat” if you did it correctly. You can use this on the Possessive Hornswog to get her to leave. You can then loot the Hidden Hornswog Hostage for the Roseate Hopper pet.

Rasnar the War Ender spawns in the Obsidian Citadel basement (entrance at /way 2022 27.15, 60.85) and patrols a hallway.
Shadeslash Trakken is spawned by clicking Pilfered Telesclope, Pilfered Focus and Pilfered Globe inside a cave at /way 2022 48.15, 74.11 If any of these items are not available, you will not be able to spawn the rare. I had to click them in the order listed but it may be different for you.

![](https://trueendgame.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Screenshot_120.png)
Shas’ith is spawned by turning in 20 Restored Obsidian Keys to Wrathion. As with the others, it is a shared goal for the whole shard. It spawns in the depths of the Obsidian Citadel’s basement area. Stairs to get down there are located at /way 2022 27.15, 60.85
Slurpo, the Incredible Snail is spawned by throwing a Magical Salt Crystal into the pools inside Slurpo’s cave. The crystal can be looted at the back of a cave with a dwarf in it in the Azure Span at the coords 11.6, 41.1.
![](https://trueendgame.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/image-46.png)
You will get a special action button once you return to Slurpo’s cave with the salt crystal in your inventory. Cave entrance is at /way #2022 36.23, 89.93
Worldcarver A’tir can be spawned by using 3 Wurmling Bones on the Wurmling Bones pile. Wurmling Bones have a 25% chance to drop from Worldcarver Wurmlings found in the area. However, they have a timer and will only be in your inventory for 15 minutes.
/way #2022 31.17 54.76 Worldcarver Wurmling 1

Azra’s Prized Peony
Gorjo the Crab Shackler/Snappy
Harkyn Grymstone
Magmaton
Massive Magmashell
O’nank Shorescour
Smogswog the Firebreather
All of the rares mentioned above are part of a 28 rare cycle that includes rares from each of the 4 main Dragon Isles zones. One of the rares spawns every 30 minutes so it takes a total of 14 hours to get through them all before the cycle resets again.
Here is a very useful googledoc that lists the spawn schedule of all the affected rares for both North America and Europe. Alternatively, you can look on the first page of Wowhead in the “Today in WoW” section under Timed Dragon Isles Rares to see which ones will be spawning in the next 2 hours. Make sure to click the appropriate region and expansion options!

Treasures of the Waking Shores
To complete this achievement, you will need to collect eight treasures in the Waking Shores. Most of them are pretty easy to get, however two have a bit of randomness involved and may require lots of grinding.
Dead Man’s Chestplate
This treasure can be found next to a skeleton on the broken middle level of the tower near the Dragonheart Outpost. Best method to get there is to fly inside the tower and then drop down. Inside is one of four possible cosmetic chest pieces, corresponding to your armor type. Cloth is Dead Man’s Tunic, leather is Dead Man’s Leathers, mail is Dead Man’s Chains, and plate is Dead Man’s Breastplate. You’ll need to do this treasure with characters of all four armor types to get all the appearances.

![](https://trueendgame.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/image-53.png)
Misty Treasure Chest
This treasure chest can be found inside a cave behind a waterfall in the Crumbling Life Archway zone. You can’t really see the cave until you’re in it. Look for the Handhold rock and you can fly in above it. You’ll receive a 34 slot bag, Misty Satchel, for your efforts.

![](https://trueendgame.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/image-55.png)
Yennu’s Kite
This treasure is stuck in a tree in the Crumbling Cliffs, a bit south of the Uktulut Pier. You can land your mount on the bigger branch but will need to climb your way up the narrow branch to get to it. Looting the treasure gives you the Yennu’s Kite toy!

![](https://trueendgame.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/image-59.png)
Torn Riding Pack
The Torn Riding Pack is found at the top of a waterfall near the Dragonscale Basecamp. The waterall is divided in two by a large rock. The treasure is on top of that rock.

![](https://trueendgame.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/image-57.png)
Golden Dragon Goblet
The next few treasures are where it starts to get a bit complicated. First, let’s talk about how to unlock treasure maps as you’ll need to loot them to find the other treasures after this. This treasure is found at the end of the questline that teaches you about the maps.
How to Unlock Treasure Maps
To unlock the ability to loot treasure maps in the Dragon Isles, you need to first loot Dragon Isles Supply Bag from any Primal Proto-Drake located in the Waking Shores. They are especially common in the north east section of the map, near where you landed after taking the zeppelin when you first came to the Dragon Isles. After looting it, complete the associated item quest.
You should then be able to pick up the quest Funding a Treasure Hunt from Cataloger Jakes at the coordinates 76.6 34.2. Next, buy the map Archeologist Artifact Notes from her and use it to find the intro treasure, Golden Dragon Goblet.
![](https://trueendgame.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/image-61.png)
![](https://trueendgame.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Screenshot_125.png)
Bubble Drifter
Once you’ve learned about maps, you can then hunt for the A Guide to Rare Fish treasure map, which is required to be able to find and loot this treasure. This item can be found in most chests/treasures but it has a very low drop chance. The most farmable are Expedition Scout’s Pack, which is unlocked at renown 2 with Dragonscale Expedition and Disturbed Dirt, which requires renown 5. They can be found in any of the four main Dragon Isles zones.
To dig the Disturbed Dirt, you need a shovel. One option is the Small Expedition Shovel which you can buy for 15 Dragon Isles Supplies from Cataloger Jakes at the Dragonscale Basecamp in the Waking Shores. It has 5 uses before it disappears. Alternatively, you can buy the Sturdy Expedition Shovel from the auction house. It has 20 uses before it disappears. I would suggest farming Dirt in the Ohn’ahran Plains specifically due to the high density of piles.
Once you’ve finally looted the required treasure map, right click it in your inventory and you should be able to see where it is in the Waking Shores on your map. Head to that area. You should find the Bubble Drifter and a Fragrant Plant nearby. Loot the plant to get a 5 minute Fragrant Plant Scent buff.
![](https://trueendgame.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Screenshot_126.png)
![](https://trueendgame.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/image-50.png)
You should then be able to interact with the Bubble Drifter to get your Azure Frillfish pet.
Ruby Gem Cluster
You’ll need to find the Ruby Gem Cluster Map. You have to unlock treasure maps as mentioned previously. The method for getting this map is the exact same as well, except for the fact you will need to be renown 21 with the Dragonscale Expedition first to be able to loot them. They also have a very low drop chance.
Once you’ve looted the map, you can find the Ruby Gem Cluster inside a cave to the east of the Shady Sanctuary in the Ohn’ahran Plains. It should be at the coordinates 61.4 70.8 in the Ruby Life Pools. It’s found on the first level of pools in the central area.
![](https://trueendgame.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/image-64.png)
![](https://trueendgame.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/image-47.png)
With the gem you get, you can either put in a crafting order for a Jeweled Ruby Whelpling at the Artisan’s Market (assuming you’re not a jewelcrafter yourself) OR use it to buy Ruby Dragonflame Blade from Unatos inside the Seat of the Aspects (where the main city portals are) in Valdrakken. You must be renown 29 with the Valdrakken Accord on one of your characters to be able to buy the sword.
Onyx Gem Cluster
This one is easier than the other gem clusters. After reaching renown 21 with the Dragonscale Expedition, you can pick up the quest Rumors of the Jeweled Whelplings from Boss Magor at the Dragonscale Base Camp. You will receive Onyx Gem Cluster Map as a reward. Use it and it should now show the location on your map. Fly west to the Obsidian Citadel to the Slagmire area. Go into the Cindershard Seam cave at the coords /way #2022 30.63 51.45. Follow the path in the cave, keeping to the left. You will find the Onyx Gem Cluster in the back of a dead end near a Cindershard Hulk.
![](https://trueendgame.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/image-63.png)
![](https://trueendgame.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/image-49.png)
Similar to the Ruby Gem Cluster, you can use the Onyx Gem Cluster to craft a whelpling pet or buy a sword.
