The Crimson Tidestallion mount is sold by the Murloc vendor in Nazjtar, it’s a secret item that rarely appears in it’s inventory and requires you to do the “Murlock Vendor Shuffle” to purchase.
Unlocking Nazjatar
You’ll need to unlock World Quests, to do that you will need to be Friendly with Voldunai, Zandalari Empire and Talanjis Expedition for Horde or Storm’s Wake, Order of Embers, Proudmoore Admiralty. Once done head to your factions ship in Port of Dazaralor or Boralus.
Next up you’ll have to unlock Nazjatar. This will be obtained from Nathanos or Greymane on your factions ship.
Follow the questline and you’ll quickly arrive in Nazjatar, once there you’ll complete approximately 9 quests to finish the introduction. Once magni arrives it’s time to start his quest chain. Starting with Essential Empowerment you’ll head to the Chamber of Heart in Silithus.
He will then send you to Neltharion’s Lair in Highmountain. Complete the scenario and finally head back to the chamber and you’ll now unlock essences.
After completing this you’ll be sent back to Nazjatar, follow the quests available in Nazjatar until you unlock world quests in Nazjatar. At this point you’ll have most features of Nazjatar unlocked.
1) After unlocking Nazjatar, complete a quest A Safer Place (Horde) / Alliance version (Alliance) and No Backs.
2) Each day Mrrl will be selling one epic quality item and one extra, that will only be visible with Azsh’ari Stormsurger Cape equipped. It is obtained from a benthic cloak sold by vendors in your faction hub. The mount is one of the hidden items and appears several times a month (you’ll have to check the vendor every day).
3) On a day Crimson Tidestallion is purchasable, the hardest part is buying a Hungry Herald’s Tentacle Taco from a rare vendor Murloco that spawns every few hours. He spawns in a cage, guarded by nagas. Kill them and you will be able to interact with Murloco. You can server hop to see if he is up on other shards. You might also get lucky and find a group in LFG sharing Murloco.
4) With a taco on you, get to your Nazjatar hub to purchase other required items:
– Purchase 714x Slimy Naga Eyeball from Mrrglrlr;
– Trade 714x Slimy Naga Eyeball for 238x Curious Murloc Horn with Grrmrlg;
– Trade 168x Curious Murloc Horn for 28x Ghost Food with Flrgrrl;
– Purchase 288x Unidentified Mass from Flrgrrl;
– Trade 288x Unidentified Mass for 48x Dirty Murloc Sock with Hurlgrl and washes into 48x Clean Murloc Sock;
– Trade 70x Curious Murloc Horn for 14x Healthy Murloc Lunch with Hurlgrl;
– Purchase 128x Sweet Sea Vegetable from Hurlgrl;
– Trade 48x Clean Murloc Sock for 16x Sea Giant Foot Dust with Grrmrlg;
– Trade 128x Sweet Sea Vegetable for 32x Just Regular Butter with Flrgrrl;
– Trade 32x Just Regular Butter for 16x Smelly Pile of Gloop with Mrrglrlr;
– Trade 16x Sea Giant Foot Dust and 14x Healthy Murloc Lunch for 2x Pulsating Blood Stone with Mrrglrlr;
– Trade 16x Smelly Pile of Gloop and 28x Ghost Food for 4x Cultist Pinky Finger with Hurlgrl.
4) Purchase a mount from Mrrl when you have acquired all the items.
