Unlocking Argus
Written Guide to getting to Argus
To unlock Argus, you first need Legion World Quests unlocked. Head to Khadgar in the Violet Citadel within Broke Isles Dalaran. He will have a quest called Uniting the Isles which you can pick up at level 45 and above. You can instantly hand this in and World Quests in Broken Isles will now be unlocked.
Next up head to Krassus Landing within Dalaran and you will find Khadgar here again, he will have a quest for you to assault the Broke Shores, this is a decently long Scenario. Once done, hand in the quest and head back to Khadgar in the Violet Citadel, he will now have a quest called Hand of Fate which will take you to a ship docked within Orgrimmar or Stormwind depending on Faction. This will lead you to Exodar and from here eventually to Argus.
Now it’s a case of continuing the story quests within Argus until you have all the zones and World Quests unlocked. This can be fairly time consuming however.
The Felglow Mana Ray mount is a rare drop from Fel-Spotted Egg. Fel-Spotted Eggs have a decent chance of dropping from the rare spawns Sabuul, Naroua and Varga who are found across argus. The mount is on roughly a 5% drop rate and is one of four possible mounts in the egg.
The eggs take 5 days to hatch and you can have multiple in your inventory at once. When opened you will receive either a junk item, a pet or one of the mounts. You can’t get duplicate mounts from the egg.
Argus rares are on a random rotation, every 4 hours a new set of rares will be present. The only exception to this is if a certain rare is currently a World Quest target, then it will remain for the World Quest duration.
Sabuul
If Sabuul is up then it can be found slightly to the west of the center of Mac’Aree. Killing it as a level 45 Character and above is fairly easy.
Naroua
If Naroua is up then it can be found North/East of Korkuun. Killing it as a level 45 Character and above is fairly easy.
Varga
If Varga is up then it can be found in a cave along the fel lava near the center of Antoran Wastes. Killing it as a level 45 Character and above is fairly easy.
Argus rares can only be killed once per day per character. So make use of other characters to have multiple shots at getting the mount per day while he is up.
