The Nazjatar Blood Serpent mount comes from a summoned mob called Adherent of the Abyss. You will need 20x Abyssal Fragments and turn them into Abhorrent Essennce of the Abyss to be able to summon the Adherent. Abyssal Fragments drop from N’zoth Loyal mobs within BFA zones, such as Tidesage and Naga mobs but are BoE so can be also bought.

The Abyssal Fragments as mentioned drop from the mobs that are tied to N’zoth across the various BFA zones although this excludes Nazjatar and the new assault zones from 8.3 (Uldum and Vale). A recommended spot is Atal’gral within Zuldazar, here you will find a large grouping of Naga mobs for you to farm, although depending on your realm you may want to consider purchasing them as on some realms they currently go for 1-2k per fragment.

Once you have obtained your 20 Abyssal Fragments and created the Abhorrent Essence of the Abyss, you’ll then want to take this to Stormsong Valley, over by the Shrine of the Storm you will find an entrance hidden behind a waterfall.

Once you enter you’ll find the Abyssal Icon, using the Abhorrent Essence of the Abyss here will summon the Adherent of the Abyss who once killed will drop the Nazjatar Blood Serpent on 100% drop chance.

This can be tough for a low geared level 50 to defeat solo and the item will be consumed on use, meaning you only get one chance at this. Bring allies with you if you don’t feel confident.

However the mount will only drop for the person who summons the Adherent, any allies who help you defeat it will not receive the mount.
