The Noble Bruffalon is sold by Storykeeper Ashekh on the Forbidden Reach for 100,000 elemental overflow, which is a dragonflight currency.
There are various methods to farming elemental overflow listed below.
Farming Elemental Overflow
With the introduction of 10.0.7 added the Forbidden Reach, a zone which has plenty of ways to gain elemental overflow so it is recommended to first unlock the Forbidden Reach if you have not done so already.
To gain access to the zone you need to first complete the intro to the Forbidden Reach, which starts with the quest Hidden Legacies in Valdrakken, which is automatically picked up when entering Valdrakken after 10.0.7.
After handing in this quest you will then be able to fly to the Forbidden Reach.
Quests
Follow the campaign quests from Return to the Reach until the quest Emberthal awaits at which point various weekly quests should be unlocked in Morqut Village.
Completing those quests or following the main campaign will give you elemental overflow as each quest gives between 150-450 elemental overflow.
On top of the weekly quests there are also daily quests unlocked by interacting with the Envoy Charter which will allow you to unlock four daily quests from the four base renown npcs which reward 450 elemental overflow.
Simply click on the charter and choose a faction, hand in the quest given and you will unlock their quest.
You can only unlock 1 quest once a day and so it will take four days to unlock all of the npc’s quests. The quests reset every couple days but if you have all four unlocked then there should be a new quest every day.
If you plan to farm rares then it is recommended to to unlock the Maruuk Centaur quest since one of the quests is to kill rares.
There are also world quests on the Forbidden Reach which reward between 150-450 elemental overflow.
Rares
On top of doing the quests you can also kill rares on the Forbidden Reach as you receive a bonus of 500 for killing a rare and 500-550 from looting each rare. The bonus is daily locked for each rare however every rare will still drop 500-550 overflow per kill.
Simply open your map and look for the rare icon to see what rares are up, each rare has between 10-15 million hp so it is recommended to do this in a raid group.
Elite Farming
If you have a dedicated group then farming packs of elites on the forbidden reach can be quite a fast method of gaining elemental overflow.
A good farming location for this can be found inside The Old Weyrn Grounds which has plenty of mobs inside. Each pack will reward you with around 100 elemental overflow, so if you have a fast group then this may be faster than rare farming.
You can also farm elemental overflow in the old elemental storm events by killing enemies and rares but given this is much slower than simply questing or killing rares on the Forbidden Reach it is not recommended.
Extra Tips and recommended farming method
If you can find rare groups in the group finder for the Forbidden Reach or groups for elite farming then this will likely be the fastest way of earning 100,000 elemental overflow for the mount.
Addons such as Rarescanner or Silverdragon are recommended to let you know when a rare has spawned on the map.
If you can find a group that is willing to farm elites/mobs whilst waiting for rares spawns or if you’re able to shard hop by joining another group/realm where multiple rares are up then this will also speed it up.
If however you cannot find rare groups or a group for farming elites, and you cannot kill the rares or it takes too long, then doing all the campaign, weekly and daily quests as well as the world quests is likely going to be your best method for farming elemental overflow.
