Guide
The Shadow Dusk Dreamsaber mount is obtained upon completion of the glory achievement for Amirdrassil, the Dream’s Hope raid. This achievement is called Glory of the Dream Raider. It has 9 total sub-achievements you must earn, one for each raid boss. You must do the achievements in normal (recommended) difficulty or higher.
At the time of writing, this achievement requires a full raid group but in the future, you may be able to do it with less people. Additionally, I would recommend clearing all of the trash leading up to Igira as well as all of the trash in the green side (Council & Nymue) corridor because you will have to go back to these places later in the raid.
Meaner Pastures
This is the achievement for the first boss, Gnarlroot. You will notice 8 small blue flowers spread around the outer part of the room. I would recommend using raid markers on each of these to make them easier to see.
Around the intermission phase, Gnarlroot will use his Splintering Charcoal ability which will cause players to have the Ember-Charred debuff. This debuff is usually for burning his roots but instead, use it to burn the flowers first. You will be able to tell which ones are burnt as they will have a fiery shadowflame effect. After all the flowers are burnt, you can kill the boss.
Cruelty Free
This achievement is for the second boss, Igira the Cruel. There will be 3 Tormented Forge Pots on the far edges of the room. There will always be two on one side and one on the other. For my raid, it was two on the left and one on the right but it may be different for you.
To complete this achievement, you will need three players to get hit by the boss’s Blistering Spear ability while standing on/close to the pots. This will break them open and free the critters inside. The boss casts this ability frequently during the fight so you do not need to rush to do them. Once all three pots are broken, you can kill the boss as normal!
Swog Champion
This achievement is for the third boss, Volcoross, who is located on the fire side. As you enter the room, go to the right when you’re down the stairs and jump on the lava rocks close by. There will be a Swoghorn you need to pick up which will give you an extra action button.
Once the boss is pulled, press the extra action button and you will summon a large frog named Lieutenant Lunker. He spawns a bunch of smaller frogs friends, only a few at a time. These small frogs will fixate on random players and do not have a lot of health so try not to kill them with AOE.
The achievement requires Volcoross to eat 30 of the small frogs. He eats them when meleeing or using Cataclysm Jaws on the tank. The people who get fixated should bring their frogs onto the tank so they can get eaten. You can tell how many frogs the boss has eaten because it gains one stack of Sizzling Swoggers for each one successfully consumed. Once the buff transform to Swog Champion, you are free to kill the boss!
Don’t Let the Doe Hit You On The Way Out
This achievement is for the fourth boss, Larodar. As you enter the room, there will be a small doe critter named Ivy on the right side. Clear all the trash first and then go back for her. First, you have to heal her to full health and then you can herd her around by walking close behind her. She gets scared easily so it is best to let one person be in charge of moving her and have everyone else stay away. It may be useful to put a raid marker on her as she is quite small and hard to see.
To get the achievement, you will need to keep Ivy alive throughout the fight and clear the 50 stacks of her debuff. Make sure she is in the Renewed Bramble Barrier (green circle) when the boss casts Raging Inferno. Have Ivy and her guardian be in one side of the green circle while all other raiders are on the other side or you risk possibly herding her out of the circle to her death.
Clearing Ivy’s debuff stacks can only be done in phase 1 of the fight so do not push the boss! You clear her stacks by killing the Fiery Treants, which will then become Charred Treants and need to be healed. After being healed, they’ll channel into the seed in the middle of the room and give it energy. Once it has energy, Ivy’s guardian can click it to use the Dream Blossom ability. This is normally used to clear the fire but for this achievement, you should stand near Ivy and remove her stacks. Be careful so you don’t herd her into a bad spot. You will need multiple waves of Treants to remove all 50 stacks. Once the stacks are cleared, just keep her alive and kill the boss for the achievement!
Ducks In A Row
This achievement is for the fifth boss, Council of Dreams, which is located on the green side. Upon entering the boss arena, you will see a duck named Sergeant Quackers on top of the wall of the left side.
For this achievement, have your whole raid stack right under him. The faerie dragon boss (Pip) will cast Polymorph Bomb that will turn several players into ducks. Keep stacking and as it expires, all raid members should be polymorphed into ducks. Once every single person is a duck, click on Sergeant Quackers. He will salute you in chat. Once you see him do this, you are free to kill the bosses as normal!
Dream Within A Dream
This is achievement is for the sixth boss, Nymue, Weaver of the Cycle. This achievement will require 5 people to /sleep. After a few seconds, they’ll wake up in a green spectral spectral form outside of their real body, similar to how some treasures in the Emerald Dream work. As long as you have enough ranged to do the necessary Surging Growth soaks, I would recommend sleeping on pull as taking any damage in your real body will interrupt the sleeping animation. You can also sleep during the intermission phase after the Cycle Wardens are killed and she finishes casting Continuum. Each person will have to find one of five green spectral butterflies that are around the room.
Once you collect all 5, a large butterfly mob called the Manifested Monarch will spawn and you can return to your real body. This mob spawns a bunch of orbs that will knock you back and do damage so be careful! Once you kill the Manifested Monarch, you are free to then kill Nymue.
*Note*: My guild had a second Manifested Monarch that spawned during the fight that we also killed. This caused us not to get the achievement first try. It worked perfectly fine on the second attempt when we only killed the first that spawned so I would not recommend killing any additional Monarchs.
Haven’t We Done This Before?
This achievement is for the seventh boss, Smolderon. You must go back to the very start of the instance and bathe in the circular pool.
Doing so will give you a 10 minute buff called Dreaming Quintessence. A minimum of six people need to get this buff but it may be helpful to have more. Once you return to Smolderon’s room, you will see six runes on the floor.
Three of the six runes shown above
The people with buffs must douse these runes with their extra action button. To do so, they must stand on the rune and complete an 8 second channel. Completing the channel will do a decent chunk of raid wide damage so only do one (or two if your healers can handle it!) at a time. Runes that are undoused emit a pillar of light but it may be worth it to assign raid markers and have people call out which runes they have done if you can’t see this effect! Once all six runes are doused, you can kill Smolderon as usual.
Whelp, I’m Lost
This achievement is for the eighth boss Tindral Sageswift, Seer of the Flame. You can only complete this during the dragonriding phase of the encounter so you have two attempts in total. Six people will need to find six Lost Whelps located in Amirdrassil’s branches.
They can be a bit hard to find but they emit a faint green glow. You can also use a /tar Lost Whelp macro and put raid markers on the Whelps to help find them. You just have to fly through a Whelp to pick them up and you will get a Rescued Whelp debuff. This debuff WILL fall off if you die for any reason so be very careful! Once six people have rescued the six whelps and none of these people die, you can kill the boss.
Memories of Teldrassil
This achievement is for the ninth and final boss, Fyrakk the Blazing. You will have to send six people back to the start to collect six Wisps. Three are found in the entrance area up to Igira’s room and the other 3 are on the way to Council and Nymue. Locations of each are marked on the map below as well as an example of what a Wisp looks like.
After finding and clicking on the Wisps, the six players will get a 1 hour buff called Spirit of Teldrassil that causes a bunch of wisps to orbit them. This buff is supposed to persist through death but sometimes it bugs out for one person and doesn’t. They will have to go get it again if this is the case.
In the second phase of the fight, the buffs will cause one more big add to appear alongside the Spirit of the Kaldorei that normally spawn. This add follows all the same rules as the others so make sure to clear a path for them and heal them to full. If even one of these bonus achievement adds dies, you must reset and start over.
Below are the locations in which they will spawn at. The sixth is particularly problematic as it spawns with very low health at almost the same time as the dangerous mobs and will walk right into them if you are not careful. Try to death grip or knock the mobs away if you can’t kill them in time.
If you kept all six of the big adds alive and they reached the tree, then you are free to kill Fyrakk!
