Guide
The Stargrazer mount can be purchased from Elianna in the Central Encampment of The Emerald Dream for 1 Dream Infusion. Elianna is located in the northeastern side of the Central Encampment, right by Keeper of Renown and Renown Quartermaster NPCs.
Also, it should be noted that this mount can only be purchased if you have another dreamstag mount in your collection. The following all count towards this: Lunar Dreamstag, Rekindled Dreamstag, Blossoming Dreamstag and Suntouched Dreamstag. The links will take you to the relevant guide on site that will walk you through exactly how to obtain each. If you want to get this mount fast, I would recommend the Blossoming or Rekindled Dreamstag. While they are a rare drop, you have a chance to get a lot of other cool mounts, transmog and even druid forms from the seeds as well.
How to unlock the Emerald Dream
First, you’ll have to be level 70 and make your way to Valdrakken. Shandris Feathermoon will be in front of the stairs of the Seat of the Aspects on the left side.
She will give you the quest Fire Season which is the beginning of a short questline you must complete before being able to enter the Emerald Dream. The questline ends with Raise The Alarm which should end with you back in Valdrakken. Now, you should get the quest Call of The Dream. This quest will have you travel to the Ancient Bough in the Ohn’ahran Plains which is the entrance to the Emerald Dream. After completing the quest Emerald Welcome, a permanent Emerald Dream portal will now be available in the emerald enclave section of Valdrakken for easier access. This portal unlock is account wide!
Dream Infusions are a currency unlocked at 5 renown with the Dream Wardens on your first character. All other characters will have it unlocked afterward regardless of their renown level. Upon reaching renown 5, you will be able to start a small questline starting with Emerald Reawakening that will ask you to talk to Elianna and it will teach you a bit about this currency. All of that being said, you still earn Dream Energy on your character even before you have unlocked Dream Infusions. I would highly suggest using alts to farm all of these Dream Infusion mounts!
How to gain renown with the Dream Wardens
There are several ways to gain renown with the Dream Warden faction:
• Completing World Quests in the Emerald Dream.
• Finishing all Campaign and side quests. Campaign gives 2500 rep token for every chapter. Many side quests give rep tokens as well!
• Completing the Superbloom weekly event. It begins at the start of every hour. Also make sure to pick up the weekly quest from the dryad following Sprucecrown!
• Doing the weekly quest A Worthy Ally: Dream Wardens which can be picked up from Keeper Amrymn in the Central Encampment.
• Completing the weekly quest Blooming Dreamseeds given by Talisa Whisperbloom in the Central Encampment. It requires you to plan five dreamseeds and the five seeds will also give you rep!
• Killing group rares that show up on the map
• Doing all the one time treasures in the Emerald Dream
• Killing the world boss, Aurostar the Hibernating, weekly
• Finishing the weekly shipment quests Great Crates! and Crate of the Art given by Eran’nda just slightly east of the Central Encampment.
You can also purchase Contract: Dream Wardens (three star) from the auction house to gain rep with this faction every time you do a World Quest in the Dragon Isles.
Additionally, the Darkmoon Faire is in town the first week of every month. You can buy a ride ticket to ride the roller coaster or carousel which gives the WHEE! buff that increases your reputation (and experience) gains by 10% for 60 minutes. You can also buy the Darkmoon Top Hat for 10 Darkmoon Prize Tickets to be able to apply this buff without having to go to the Faire. There are also many yearly events such as Hallow’s End and Pilgrim’s Bounty that give reputation buffs as well.
Dream Infusion Info
Your progress toward a Dream Infusion is only shown above Elianna’s head. There are two options to keep track of your Dream Energy without having to go back to her all the time– my personal recommendation is this WeakAura that will show the bar on your screen when you’re in the Emerald Dream zone.
The second is the inputting the following into your chatbox:
/run local n=(C_CurrencyInfo.GetCurrencyInfo(2649).quantity or 0)print(string.format("Dream Ephemera: %d/7000 ",n))
The reason that you will want to check your Dream Energy frequently is because once you reach 100%, you cannot earn any more. If you do, the progress does not carry over. So as to not waste any Dream Energy, you should purchase a mount (or pet) as soon as the bar is maxed out.
Gathering Dream Energy
Now you’re probably thinking– how exactly do I get Dream Energy? The answer to that is by doing most activities in the Emerald Dream zone. Below is a table of all of them, how much they give and any other relevant info.
Source | Dream Energy gained | Notes |
Weekly Quests | 1000 / 500 / 100 | 1000 Dream Energy gathered when opening the reward bag from A Worthy Ally: Dream Wardens quest 500 Dream Energy gathered when opening the reward bag from Blooming Dreamseeds quest 100 Dream Energy each for completing reagent turn-in quests Great Crates! and Crate of the Art |
Campaign | 500/each | Usually rewarded from the final quest of each Chapter (7 Chapters in total!) |
Side Quests | 400/325 each | A Dragon in Hand is Worth Two in the Roost awards 400. The rest all award 325. List of them: Trouble at the Tree, The Q’onzu Query, The Dryad Garden, Sky Mother’s Ire, A Call to Aid, Memory of the Dreamer, A Sleepy Search & Burning Out. Note that many of these are NOT the first questline in the chain. |
Emerald Bounty (Dreamseeds) | 300 / 50/ 5 | Gained when contributing Emerald Dewdrops to Dreamseed Blooms. At the end of their growth cycle, you will get a reagent bag and Dream Energy. The quality of the seed does not matter. 100% grown = 300 Dream Energy 50-99% grown = 50 Dream Energy <50% grown = 5 Dream Energy |
Superbloom | 200 / 50 | Completing a Superbloom = 50 Energy While doing the event, all players will add to a progress bar. There are three total objectives of the bar that award a green, blue and purple bag rewards. Each of these bags gives 200 Dream Energy. |
World Quests | 100 / 25 | World Boss (Aurostor) world quest & Elite world quest will give 100 each. All others will give 25. |
Treasures | 50 / 25 | 50 Dream Energy for most one time (per character) treasures such as Reliquary of Ursol and Unwaking Echo. 25 Dream Energy for every repeatable treasure such as Small Somnut |
Rares | 50 / 25 | 50 Dream Energy for defeating group rares Reefbreaker Moruud and Greedy Gessie (seems to have 3-4 day lockout) 25 Dream Energy for defeating group rares Nuoberon, Envoy of Winter, Firebrand Fystia, Raszageth’s Last Breath and Amalgamation of Dreams (also 3-4 day lockout) 25 Dream Energy for killing a normal rare (once a day lockout) |
Paragon Rep Chest | 3500 | Every 10,000 reputation earned past exalted will give you a Overflowing Dream Warden Trove that contains 3500 Dream Energy |
