Snapback Scuttler
Family: Crab
Type: Achievement
Zone: Nazjatar
Faction: Both
Recommended Level: Level 50
Skill Level: 4/10
Guide
The Snapback Scuttler mount is obtained by completing the Nazjatar meta achievement, Undersea Usurper. This achievement is comprised of 17 smaller achievements for doing various things around Nazjatar. It will take a minimum of 13 weeks to complete due to the timegating on the Periodic Destruction achievement. However, the achievement can take longer than that, especially if you are not visiting Nazjatar every day. In this guide, I will go over each achievement one by one below. But first, let’s go over how to unlock Nazjatar.
How to unlock Nazjatar
To unlock Nazjatar, you must be level 50 and have completed the A Nation Divided quest if you’re Alliance or Welcome to Zuldazar if you’re Horde. You must also have the Heart of Azeroth unlocked which starts with A Dying World. Once you have done these steps, you should look for the quest The Wolf’s Offensive OR Send The Fleet given by Genn Greymane on the Alliance ship in Boralus if you’re Alliance. For Horde, you should look for the quest The Warchief’s Orders OR Send The Fleet given by Nathanos on the Horde ship in the Port of Zuldazar. Following the aforementioned questline will send you to Nazjatar.
Now, on to all the achievements!
Periodic Destruction
This is the aforementioned achievement that requires 13 weeks to complete. To unlock this, you must first loot Lesser Benthic Arcanocrystal from opening treasures or killing mobs in Nazjatar and complete the small questline. Afterwards, you will head to Mardivas’ Laboratory every week where there is a weekly quest called The Laboratory of Mardivas. The Laboratory is located in a cave under a small cliff, right by the “I” in the Azsh’ari Terrace.
Coords: 60.71 32.41
/way #1355 60.71 32.41
The weekly quest requires you to summon and kill an elemental. All but one require you to collect certain reagents that can drop off mobs in Nazjatar or be bought on the auction house. These reagents are Strange Volcanic Rock, Strange Mineralized Water and Strange Oceanic Sediment. You can summon different elementals by placing a combination of these reagents in the 6 arcanocrystals in the room, of which there are 3 “greater” and 3 “lesser”.
Benthic crystals require the Water reagent, Lithic ones require the Sediment reagent and Pyroclasmic require the Rock reagent. I would not worry too much about collecting these reagents in advance as you will accumulate plenty by doing your regular activities in Nazjatar. Below is a table on how to spawn each of the thirteen elementals.
Spawn | Lesser Arcanocrystal | Greater Arcanocrystal |
Arcane Amalgamation | None | None |
Watery Amalgamation | Benthic | None |
Dusty Amalgamation | Lithic | None |
Burning Amalgamation | Pyroclasmic | None |
Osgen | Benthic | Benthic |
Herald of Salgos | Lithic | Lithic |
Ungormath | Pyroclasmic | Pyroclasmic |
Zomera | Benthic | Lithic |
Omus | Benthic | Pyroclasmic |

Salgos the Eternal | Lithic | Pyroclasmic |
Moghiea | Pyroclasmic | Lithic |

Aqua Team Murder Force
This achievement can possibly take the longest of them all, depending on your luck and how you choose to do it, so I would recommend working on it every day if you can. It requires you to train all three of your allies to level 30. For Horde, these three are Neri Sharpfin, Poen Gillbrack and Vim Brineheart. For Alliance, they are Bladesman Inowari, Farseer Ori and Hunter Akana.
The main way of levelling your allies is by doing daily quests with them. You can level each follower on three separate characters of the same faction if you’d like to make this achievement faster. The other way is by turning in various items that can drop from mobs/rares in Nazjatar or be bought from a murloc vendor.
Giant Crab Leg gives 50 experience to Poen Gillbrack/Bladesman Inowari. They drop from the Sandclaw Stoneshell rare and other crabs west of the Gate of the Queen.
Fathom Ray Wing gives 50 exp to Neri Sharpfin/Hunter Akana. They drop from the Soundless/Deepglider rares and various other rays in the Coral Forest.
Eel Filet gives 50 exp to Vim Brineheart/Farseer Ori. It drops from the Chasm-Haunter rare and various eels in The Hanging Reef and Deepcoil Tunnels.
Reefwalker Bark gives 20 exp to all three followers. It drops from Kelpwillow/Anemonar/Urduu/Oronu rares as well as Murkbloom Reefwalkers in The Hanging Reef. The rares can also drop Ancient Reefwalker Bark which gives 100 exp to each bodyguard but it is only available once a week.

/way #1355 50 72 Eels/Trees (Hanging Reef)
/way #1355 61 18 Eels (Deepcoil Tunnels)
If you have the Azsh’ari Stormsurger Cape, you can also buy experience items from the murloc, Mrrl, located in Newhome/Mezzamere*. They are called Unusually Wise Hermit Crab (75 exp for targeted ally) and Naga Deployment Orders (150 exp for each ally). Mrrl’s stock rotates daily so these will not always be available for purchase. Naga Deployment Orders can also be found in Glimmering Chests which are only visible after using a Scrying Stone.
*In Mrrl’s Secret Stash section, I will go over in more detail how to unlock Mrrl and buy this cape.
I Thought You Said They’d Be Rare
This achievement requires you to kill each of the 37 rares that spawn in Nazjatar. Most of these rares are straightforward but there are some that have quirks. Below is a map and coordinates for all rares except those that have multiple spawn locations as they would add a lot of clutter. If a rare has a red star next to it, it has a spawn quirk that I’ve touched on below. I’ve also gone over the rares in caves as well as multiple spawn point rares.
It may be worth it to download an addon such as RareScanner or SilverDragon as they will give you a popup and audio notification whenever you’re close to a rare. This can be especially helpful for rares with multiple spawn points!
Additionally, I would recommend doing this achievement in Warmode On so you can work on getting the Inkscale Deepseeker mount at the same time.

In A Cave
Blindlight is found inside a cave in the Spears of Azshara section of the map. The entrance is right behind a fancy platform with two Zan’jir Myrmidons on it.
The cave is full of Necrofin murlocs. Walk straight ahead and you will eventually come into a large room with a quest mob named Kritch in it. Keep walking to the path to the left of Kritch where you can drop down a hole. Blindlight will be right there when you land! To get out, there is a ramp that takes you back up to Kritch’s area to the right of Blindlight after going through a pool of water and you can exit how you came in.
Caverndark Terror is located in the Chitterspine Caverns inside a cave. The entrance is just southwest of the Q in the Gate of the Queen on the map. Outside, you will see the Shadowspike Lurker pet battle boss and several Deeplight Torches.
Go into the cave and turn left when you’ve walked a couple steps in. You will see a ramp leading downward behind a small waterfall. Go down this pathway until you reach a large pool where the Caverndark Terror will be swimming in if it’s up. Upon killing it, you can exit the same way you came in!
Chasm-Haunter is also located in the Spears of Azshara section of the map but in the very southeastern corner. It is inside a cave underneath a waterfall.
Dive down to the bottom of the waterfall and you should see a cave entrance. Swim forward until you can surface and Chasm-Haunter will be there.
Shassera is found inside of a cave in the Shirakess Repository section of the map, which is east of the Gate of the Queen
Once inside the cave, head straight until you can turn left. Walk down the ramp until you reach the large pool of water. Shassera floats around the cavern above the water.
Multiple Spawn Points
Amethyst Spireshell can spawn in a large number of locations around the map. It is usually found in high places but can even be found in caves. The low effort way to find it is by flying around with a /tar Amethyst Spireshell macro. If you don’t find one, you can cause it to spawn by killing Sea Spireshells/Prismatic Spireshells. A good place to do this is in the Bloodfin Village as it has a high density of these mobs.
Daggertooth Terror has multiple spawn points. It always spawns in water and can be found in surprisingly shallow water so make sure to check all rivers and lakes.
Garnetscale has multiple spawn points as well but they’re all condensed to the Ashen Strand area in the western part of the map. If you don’t see it, try spam killing Razorshell Turtles.
Mirecrawler is just like the Spireshell where it can spawn in a large amount of different locations. If you can’t find it, killing Sea Spireshells and Muck Creepers can cause it to spawn. A good place to farm these is in the Ashen Strand.
Needlespine has a handful of spawn points. They are all around the top half of the map and always near water. The biggest clump of spawnpoints is the river and lake area that’s east of Zanj’ir Terrace and south of Gate of the Queen.
Rockweed Shambler is probably the rare that will give you the most trouble on this list. You have to kill Lost Algans and Wayward Algans until the Rockweed Shambler spawns and it seems to have a very low chance of doing so. They spawn all around the map except in the top half in the areas above and around Zanj’ir Terrace and Azsh’ari Terrace. I would recommend flying around spamming the following macro so you can check for Algans to kill as well as to see if this rare has spawned.
/tar Lost Algan
/tar Wayward Algan
/tar Rockweed Shambler
Sandcastle has a lot of possible spawn locations as it has small chance to spawn when opening a Glimmering Chest. These require use of a Scrying Stone to be able to see. More info about Scrying Stones can be found under the Nothing to Scry About section of this guide!
Sandclaw Stoneshell has multiple spawn points in the northwestern part of the map around the Drowned Market, Zin’Azshari & Kal’methir areas.
Shiz’narasz the Consumer has various spawn points but it ONLY spawns in water in the Chitterspine Caverns part of the map (water area around Gate of The Queen).
Soundless has a very long spawn time of 2-8 hours and is highly sought after due to dropping the mount Silent Glider. It spawns in multiple locations in the Coral Forest.
Toxigore the Alpha is the final multiple spawn rare and she only spawns in the Nar’anan part of the map which is just south of Kal’Methir.
Rares with Spawn Quirks
Anemonar is normally untargetable. To activate him, you are required to drag a Colossal Sky Ray mob on top of him and then kill it. Sky Rays are very slow and have a short leash range. Make sure to stay relatively close so it doesn’t reset.
Banescale the Packfather has a small chance to spawn after you kill the rare Siltstalker the Packmother.
Kelpwillow is untargetable. To activate him, you must use a Prismatic Crystal on a Muck Slug critter and bring it to him. Prismatic Crystals are generally found in or around waterfalls.
King Galuka is spawned by clicking on 100 Bloodfin Tadpoles. He will yell in chat for roughly every 25 that are scared. More information about this is under the Terror of the Tadpoles section!
Oronu is another untargetable tree and requires activation. You need to summon the pet Drowned Hatchling and walk over him. You can buy this pet from Feylana the Handler for 40 Prismatic Manapearls. She is located in the Drowned Market at waypoint 73 46. Having a friend use their pet to activate Oronu also works.
Scale Matriarch Gratinaz, Vynara and Zodia share a respawn timer so only one will be up at a time. Spawns are random so the same one can spawn multiple times in a row. Their respawn time is between 1-2 hours and users have reported that killing other hydras in the area might make them more likely to spawn.
Tidelord Aquatus and Dispersius require you to kill three Azh’ari Invokers to summon them. Their spawn is not guaranteed.
Tidemistress Leth’sindra requires you to click five Undisturbed Specimen eggs in the area before she will spawn. They look like normal void eggs but can be interacted with.
Spawn locations of the eggs at:
/way #1355 66.88 22.22 Egg 1
/way #1355 65.69 23.46 Egg 2
/way #1355 67 24.75 Egg 3
/way #1355 65.91 24.7 Egg 4
/way #1355 65.27 19.5 Egg 5
Urduu is the last untargetable tree rare. He requires you to pull a Staghorn Reefwalker to him and kill it on top of him.
Voice in the Deeps requires you to loot the item Molted Shell located at the coordinates 68.05 37.43 and then remove the rock pile at coords 67.22 34.5 with it. This rare has 9 million health so it may be hard to solo if you are low geared.
Puzzle Performer
This achievement requires you to complete 21 different puzzle World Quests around Nazjatar. There will always be two of the puzzle quests active at one time and World Quests change twice daily so make sure to check back often! You will first have to loot a Silver Knife from an Arcane Chest or Glowing Arcane Trunk and complete its’ quest chain to unlock the ability to do these puzzles.
There are two types of puzzles. The first are Runelocked Chests, which require you to vertically or horizontally match chains of three or more identical runes. You will have to do this until you reach the required number of runes matched as detailed in the World Quest. It is very similar to the Candy Crush game.
The second type are Leylocked Chests, which require you to untangle lines to make each into their own little shape. Lines must not overlap or cross with other lines that are not grouped with it. The first image below shows you what the hard leylocked puzzle looks like unsolved. The second image is an example of what a solved puzzle looks like.
I would recommend hiding your UI to do these puzzles for more clarity. The default way to do this is by pressing ALT + Z but your personal settings might be different. You can press those again to make your UI return. If for some reason you want to exit midgame, you can click the Arcane Runelock buff in the top right corner of your screen or wherever you have buffs on your UI!
Nazjatarget Eliminated
This achievement requires you to kill all 15 of Azshara’s “champions”. Her champions are blue world quest enemies that are only available to kill when their world quest is up. They have multiple spawn locations each. Below is an example of one of their world quests can look like.
Note: Sometimes in Nazjatar, blue world quests simply do not show up on the map so it can be hard to check if any of the champions you need are available that day. If this happens to you, I would recommend this post on the blizzard forums that gives a script you can copy and paste into your chatbox. It tells you which are up without you having to fly all around the map looking for them.
The Unshackled / Waveblade Ankoan
This achievement requires you to reach Exalted reputation with either The Unshackled (Horde) or the Waveblade Ankoan (Alliance).
How to gain reputation with The Unshackled / Waveblade Ankoan
There are several ways to gain reputation with The Unshackled/Waveblade Ankoan faction:
Completing Summons From The Depths event
Completing The Battle for Nazjatar PvP world quest (requires warmode on)
Completing the weekly quest The Laboratory of Mardivas
Killing rares daily
Completing Daily Quests such as requisitions and bounties
Levelling up your Allies
Completing the main and side quests in Nazjatar
Completing the corresponding Emissary when available (requires doing 4 WQs in Nazjatar)
Finishing World Quests in Nazjatar. The best time to do these is when the Sign of the Emissary bonus event is up as it doubles the reputation gained from WQs. Also, Pet Battle WQs in particular seem to drop a bonus item the first time you complete them which can be turned in for an additional 250 rep.
You can also purchase Contract: The Unshackled / Contract: Ankoan from the auction house to gain rep with this faction every time you do a World Quest on Kul Tiras or Zandalar.
The Darkmoon Faire is in town the first week of every month. You can buy a ride ticket to ride the rollercoaster or carousel which gives the WHEE! buff that increases your reputation (and experience) gains by 10% for 60 minutes. You can also buy the Darkmoon Top Hat for 10 Darkmoon Prize Tickets to be able to apply this buff without having to go to the Faire.
I would not worry too much about this as you will get reputation naturally while completing all the other achievements on this list.
Trove Tracker
This achievement requires you to find 20 Arcane Chests and 8 Glowing Arcane Trunks throughout Nazjatar. You must first complete A Tempered Blade (Alliance) or Save A Friend (Horde) before you are able to see these. The Chests are simple find and opens but the Trunks all require some type of puzzle being completed.

/way #1355 80.52 31.96 Glowing Arcane Trunk 8
Glowing Arcane Trunks 1, 5 & 7 require a puzzle that is similar to the game Dance Dance Revolution. The goal is to press the corresponding button (left, middle or right) at the same time the orb touches the rune on the floor. Missing too many times will kick you out of the minigame. Turning off your addons and lowering graphics is recommended. Keep in mind that the pattern the orbs come out in is the exact same every time. Trunk 5 is notoriously difficult and may take many tries but keep calm and keep trying!
Trunk 2 requires you to do a rune matching puzzle, just like the world quest ones. You have to click the Arcane Device on the floor to start. For this one specifically, you must match 4 teal runes either diagonally or horizontally. Trunk 4 instead requires you to match 3 red runes.
Trunk 3 and 6 require you to do a line uncrossing puzzle, again just like the world quest ones mentioned in the Puzzle Performer section.
For the Arcane Chests, I am unable to see them to take useful screenshots for you so instead, I would recommend this video by WoW Quests that I used as a visual reference when completing this achievement myself. They have a Glowing Arcane Trunk video as well here.
Unfathomable / Sunken Ambitions
This achievement is straightforward. You need to complete the main campaign storyline in Nazjatar. For Horde, it starts with Welcome to Nazjatar and the second part is Secrets in the Sea. To unlock the third and final part Turning The Tides, you must complete the quest Down But Not Out. Alliance also starts with Welcome to Nazjatar and has their own Secrets in the Sea but their third part is called Changing Tides which requires completion of the quest Friends In Need to unlock.
If you ever get lost on which quest you should be doing next, I would strongly recommend downloading the addon BTWQuests with the Battle for Azeroth module. This addon is very helpful because it shows you the order you need to do quests in as well as providing coordinates. You can also look at Wowhead!
Terror of the Tadpoles
This achievement requires you to go to Bloodfin Village in Nazjatar which can be found between the Ashen Strande and Zan’jir Terrace sections of the map.
Coords: 30 32
/way #1355 30 32
To get the achievement, you must “scare” (interact) with 100 friendly Bloodfin Tadpoles. Every time you interact with one, it will spawn 1-2 Bloodfin Sentry that will attack you.
I would recommend purchasing Monel-Hardened Stirrups from the auction house so you can interact while mounted which will make this much less tedious. You can also buy Comfortable Rider’s Barding (or switch to a tank spec) so you can avoid being dazed and dismounted by the enemy Sentries. If you want to make it even simpler, bind /tar Bloodfin Tadpole to one button and “Interact with target” hotkey to another and you can fly around spamming these two buttons.
Nothing to Scry About
This achievement is obtained by finding 100 treasures in Nazjatar using a Scrying Stone. In order to use them, you will have to complete a small questline that begins with Scrying Stones, which is given by Finder Pruc in Newhome or Artisan Okata in Mezzamere. This quest should be available after doing the intro to Nazjatar. After finishing it, you then have a chance to loot Scrying Stones off of rares. I would recommend getting several Scrying Stones before attempting this achievement.
I would recommend following this route where you start in the Drowned Market then proceed to the Coral Forest and lastly the Dragon’s Teeth Basin. These three zones have a high density of treasures.
Alternatively, here is a very long list of every single possible spawn location of Glimmering Chests. I would strongly advise to download the Paste addon so you can add all of the waypoints to your map at once.

Back to the Depths!
This achievement requires you to complete the Summons of the Depths event 10 times. You can tell if this event is up by looking to see if there is a glowy purple skull near Azh’ari Terrace. It spawns roughly every three hours and you can do as many as you’d like every day. You must kill some summoners and then kill the boss that Azshara summons to complete the event.

Subaquatic Support
This achievement is earned by completing 30 Bounty or Requisition daily quests in Nazjatar. These can be picked up in Newhome/Mezzamere. Bounty quests usually require you to kill a certain amount of mobs while Requisition quests have you collect plants from around Nazjatar.
Feline Figurines Found
To complete this achievement, you must find and interact with 10 crystalline cat figurines found throughout Nazjatar. I will go over all of them below with coordinates and pictures. There is no specific order you have to do these in. Lastly, my screenshots may not look exactly the same as how the zone appears to you because unfortunately I have already completed this achievement before writing this guide.

Figurine 1
To start, head to the coordinates 40.36 80.95 and get in the water. Dive downward all the water to the bottom. At the bottom, turn so your cursor on the map is facing south. You should see an opening that leads to a small cave.
Swim to the end of the cave and come to the surface. You will see a bunch of Murkbloom Reefwalkers T-Posing that will attack you if you get close to them. The Feline Figurine is on a small barnacle ledge in the back of the room.
Figurine 2
This figurine is right by Mezzamere, just slightly northeast of the large structure on the map. The figurine is found in a cave on the side of the walkway going up to the base.
Once you’re inside of the little cave, the figurine is found in the centre of the three barrels.
Figurine 3
This is another underwater cave figurine like the first. Go to the coords 29.79 30.21, located in the Bloodfin Village. There is a small pool of water you need to jump into that connects to the main big pool in the centre of the village. Swim down and then turn so your cursor on the map is facing north east. You should see a little cave. If the world quest Murloc Mayhem is up, the cave might be lit and full of Bloodfin Murlocs. Otherwise, it will be dark and empty.
The figurine is located in the back left of this room.
Figurine 4
Head to the coords 55.31 28.78 located in Azsh’ari Terrace. The cave entrance is in a large pillar of rock, hidden partially by a lot of purple plants.
Inside the cave, there is a Malfunctioning Arcane Device that is constantly putting swirlies on the ground. If you get hit by one, you will take damage and be teleported out. You can somewhat walk on the right wall to avoid these initially. Definitely use any movement abilities you have to make it to the large rocks at the back of the room. Stand on these rocks and you should be able to see the figurine on the tallest rock right by some starfish.
Figurine 5
This figurine is near the last one in the Imperial Garden. Once you head to the coords 57.47 22.21, get in the water and swim down. Turn so your icon on the map is facing east and you should see a purple cave entrance. For you, it is most likely dark and empty unlike my screenshot.
The figurine is on the floor near the back of the room.
Figurine 6
This figurine is in an underwater cavern located in the Shirakess Repository. Head to the coords 61.45 11.93 and swim to the bottom of the pool. You should see a cave entrance that looks like the following except not well lit.
As soon as you pass through, an Unseen Presence will whisper something to you in the chat window. There is a branchlike rock formation in the cave that is hard to see in the dark but the figurine should be near the top of it.
Figurine 7
Figurine 7 is located in the Azsh’ari Terrace, at the pool just south of Mardivas’ Laboratory. It is a small cave in an overhang of rock.
Go inside and to the back of the cave. There’s a large section of barnacles on the wall and the figurine is found on top of one near the middle.
Figurine 8
Figurine 8 is found very close to 7 in the Azsh’ari Terrace. It is also found in a small cave in an overhang of rock.
The figurine is behind a sea urchin on top of a rock to the right when you walk in.
Figurine 9
This cat figure is located in the Deepcoil Tunnels. Head to the coords 70.55 24.65 and get in the water looking at the waterfall. There’s a small cave slightly down and behind it. It should look like the screenshot below but dark and without the mob inside.
Swim to the back left of the room. There are two large starfish on the wall and the figurine is slightly under the green one.
Figurine 10
Lastly, follow the waterfall up from where you just were for figure 9. Once at the top, get into the water and dive down a bit. You should see the final cave in front of you if your marker on the map is facing east.
Head into the cave and turn to the left. There are a bunch of rocks clumpedtogether and the cat is hiding behind one near the middle.
A Fistful of Manapearls
You earn this achievement by collecting 1,000 Prismatic Manapearls which will show in your currency tab. You gain these in small quantities from most activities in Nazjatar. I would suggest doing activities in warmode on specifically as you will get more from world quests and complete the PVP WQ Battle for Nazjatar that also awards Pearls. You can also get Pearls from killing rares, opening chests, completing world/daily quests, the Emissary if it’s available, doing the Mardivas’ Laboratory weekly and certain missions from your mission table. Like rep, I would not worry too much about farming these as you will come across many naturally from just working on this meta achievement.
Mrrl’s Secret Stash
This achievement requires you to trade with the murloc Mrrl and buy one of his secret stash items, which is the mount Crimson Tidestallion.
First, you have to find Mrrl. He’s located in the Dragon’s Teeth Basin in almost the centre of the map.
Coords: 48.2 45.2
/way #1355 48.2 45.2
He will have a quest called A Safer Place which requires you to escort him back to your faction hub of either Mezzamere or Newhome. Once there, he will have another quest for you to complete called No Backs.
The next step is acquiring an Azsh’ari Stormsurger Cape. To get this item, you must buy Benthic Cloak for 5 Prismatic Manapearls from Finder Palta or Artisan Itanu. Keep buying and opening them until you get this specific cape.
Now you will have to complete a small secret event. This event is located at the coordinates 46.5 32.7 inside a small cave called Murloco’s Hideaway.
Coords: 46.5 32.7
/way #1355 46.5 32.7
If the event is available, you will have to save a murloc named Murloco from two naga who are keeping him in a cage. Upon killing the first two, several more waves will spawn. After all the naga are dead, Murloco will become a vendor for 5 minutes and you can buy Hungry Herald’s Tentacle Taco from him which costs 666 gold.
Now you will have to wait for Mrrl to sell the Crimson Tidestallion. You have to wear your Azsh’ari Stormsurger Cape to be able to see this item and it is only available a couple of times a month so check back every day. Once it’s available, you will need to have your cloak equipped to begin a long train of trading with other murloc vendors in the area. Follow the steps below in order and at the end, you’ll be able to purchase the mount.
- Purchase 714 Slimy Naga Eyeball from Mrrglrlr.
- Trade 714 Slimy Naga Eyeball for 238 Curious Murloc Horn with Grrmrlg.
- Trade 168 Curious Murloc Horn for 28 Ghost Food with Flrgrrl.
- Purchase 288 Unidentified Mass from Flrgrrl.
- Trade 288 Unidentified Mass for 48x Dirty Murloc Sock with Hurlgrl.
- Turn the 48 Dirty Murloc Socks into Clean Murloc Socks by right clicking them while standing in a body of water that’s deep enough. The pool next to the Boralus/Zuldazar portal should work just fine.
- Trade 70 Curious Murloc Horn for 14 Healthy Murloc Lunch with Hurlgrl.
- Purchase 128 Sweet Sea Vegetable from Hurlgrl.
- Trade 48 Clean Murloc Sock for 16 Sea Giant Foot Dust with Grrmrlg.
- Trade 128 Sweet Sea Vegetable for 32 Just Regular Butter with Flrgrrl.
- Trade 32 Just Regular Butter for 16 Smelly Pile of Gloop with Mrrglrlr.
- – Trade 16 Sea Giant Foot Dust AND 14 Healthy Murloc Lunch for 2 Pulsating Blood Stone with Mrrglrlr.
- Trade 16 Smelly Pile of Gloop AND 28 Ghost Food for 4 Cultist Pinky Finger with Hurlgrl.
- Finally, head back to Mrrl and trade the 4 Cultist Pinky Finger, 2 Pulsating Blood Stone and 1 Hungry Herald’s Tentacle Taco in for the Crimson Tidestallion. Congrats on your new mount!
Tour of the Depths
This achievement requires you to do various activities around Nazjatar. Most of them have already been covered in other sections of this guide so I will redirect those back to their relevant sections.
The activities are as follows:
- Find and Assist Mrrl (already covered in Mrrl’s Secret Stash section of this guide)
- Defeat one of Mardivas’ Laboratory creations (covered in Periodic Destruction)
- Level a Nazjatar Ally to Level 5 (covered in Aqua Team Murder Force)
- Defeat one of Azshara’s Champions (covered in Nazjatarget Eliminated)
- Learn about the Scrying Stones of Nazjatar (covered in Nothing to Scry About)
There’s two we haven’t talked about yet however. The first is to complete an Emissary for your ally in Nazjatar. Emissaries show up on the bottom left of your map when you’re in BFA zones.
For Horde, you’re looking for The Unshackled. Alliance will be looking for The Ankoan. They require you to do 4 world quests in Nazjatar then head back to your faction base to turn in the quest. This quest will awards a large amount of rep and sometimes other things such as Prismatic Manapearls.
The second thing is to defeat a world boss in Nazjatar. There are two world bosses, only one is up every week. They will show on your map as a large purple marker with a gold dragon around it.
You can either do The Soulbinder one which requires you to kill Ulmath, a mindbender zoatroid that is mind controlling two night elf spirits (Moon Priestess Liara & Guardian Tannin) that also attack you. They are located in the northeastern part of the map in Zin’Azshari They all share the same health pool.
The other quest is Terror of the Depths where you have to fight a giant tidal guardian worm named Wekemara. It is located in a large pool in Spears of Azshara which is in the southern part of the map.
